Researched, wrote, and designed a book that explores the interconnections of women's hairstyles and typography throughout the centuries. 'Strokes and Strands' celebrates hair and typography by filling the pages with beautiful paintings of women donning elaborate coiffed hair mixed with typefaces specific to each period in time.
Golden locks, sheep's head, comb overs, bobs, and Afros—these historical paintings are interspersed with type treatments illustrating hairstyles and typefaces of each era.
