Book Design
For this project, I researched, wrote, and designed a pocket-sized field guide. As bee populations continue to decline across the U.S., there's a critical need for practical information about these essential pollinators. The portable book is an accessible and comprehensive tool for citizen scientists to track and report bumble bee populations.
The framework of the book organizes and presents the scientific information to the user in a concise and friendly way, making it easy for anyone to use. Each bee profile features the captivating photography of biologist Sam Droege, who specializes in detailed macro shots of various bee species.
